Los Arrotos del Pendón Albarín is a single-varietal white wine made by Raúl Pérez with 100% Albarín grapes, an almost extinct native variety from León, which the winemaker BerciAno has rescued to highlight the wine heritage of Castilla y León.
Coming from vineyards located in the Leonese moor at almost 1,000 meters of altitude, the Albarín grape is characterized by its great aromatic expression, with marked citrus and floral aromas, good alcohol content and natural acidity. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts in 500-liter barrels, with subsequent aging for 12 months in used French oak barrels. A process that enhances variety without masking its character.
A limited production rarity (~10,000 bottles) that reflects Raúl Pérez's talent for bringing out the maximum expression of local varieties.
