The Airén is a white grape variety native to Spain, specifically Castilla-La Mancha, and stands out for being the grape variety with the largest cultivated area in the country and one of the largest in the world. Traditionally associated with the mass production of bulk wine and spirits, today it is experiencing a resurgence thanks to work with old vines and terroir.
